We are pleased to announce that the 2nd HiSST Conference has been rescheduled for September 11 to 15, 2022, in Bruges, Belgium.

The HiSST Committee enacted a final and definite conference date  shift and is implementing a change to our traditional modus of conference operation:

The new conference date is September 11 through 16, 2022 in Bruges Belgium

The deadline for additional abstract submittal is 11 April, 2022; already accepted abstracts remain eligible and do not need to be resubmitted

The conference will be conducted  in a hybrid mode, i.e., we will have in person and virtual participation:

We strongly encourage, however, conference participants to be physically present at the venue in Bruges, to attend sessions as usual, to enjoy various social events, and to visit the von Karman Institute in Brussels.

We offer HiSST supporters who would like to attend the conference but have been blocked by imposed national travel restrictions due to COVID-19 or visa related issues to participate virtually.

All virtual presenters will have to submit their pre-recorded presentations no later than 30 August, 2022. Conference Session presentations will be live and streamed. We will use pre-recorded presentations only in cases where there are time zone issues or technical problems. HiSST will record all sessions and will make them available for viewing anytime on the digital platform until December 2nd, 2022. 

The digital platform will also offer the opportunity for in-person or virtual participants to interact directly with one another and have 1-on-1 or group video calls

Exhibitors will be able to set-up a digital booth and conduct planned meetings with participants. The digital booth gives an exhibitor the opportunity to present promotional videos or information folders and introduce company employees.
